Carolina Und Michalina

We are two communication designers based in Hamburg, Germany. As a well established working system, we collaborate since 2007. With the work "My Network - A Critical Survey of the Web Behavior of a Circle of Friends" we graduated at HAW Hamburg in 2011.

Our topics lie in the context of design, digital and internet aesthetics as well as digital culture. In this field, we work both artistically and theoretically.

We are interested in interactions between humans and digitality, the interfaces between the physical world (body) and the digital world (data), which mutually influence, shape and condition each other in the digital society. Specifically, this means that our work can be viewed as a form of engagement with issues of digitality in relation to self/ subject.
